»Pet Nat« ist die Kurzform für petillant naturel, was direkt übersetzt prickelnd natürlich heißt. Das ist eine fast in Vergessenheit geratene Urform der Sektherstellung. Die Trauben werden eingemaischt und spontan vergoren, mitten in der der Gärung wird der Most abgepresst und mit Restsüsse in Flaschen gefüllt, damit die Gärung in der Flasche weitergeht und Kohlensäure gebunden wird. Die verbliebene Gärhefe wird nicht entfernt (degorgiert), das Ergebnis sind Perl-Weine mit viel Frucht & Struktur und feinem Hefeton. Pet Nat Volume 1 aus Müller-Thurgau, Grüner Veltliner und Gleber Muskateller, im Glas dunkelgelb, naturtrüb wie Apfelsaft, in der Nase fruchtiger Apfel, Grapefruit, Flieder, am Gaumen weich mit sanfter Perlage, eher wenig Säure, zart hefig bis Apfelstrudel im Abgang.
