Der Muschelkalk weiss ist ein Cuvée aus Grünem Veltliner, Welschriesling und Weißburgunder vom Kalkboden am Leithagebirge, kurz gemaischt mit samt den Kämmen, dann spontan vergoren und im großen Holzfass ausgebaut. In der Nase schöner Duft nach reifen Boskopäpfeln, Pfirsichkompott, frische Litschi und eine Nuance Wachs. Am Gaumen eine phenolische Textur von den Schalen, dazu eine gediegene Säure mit feinem Schmelz, guter Druck und etwas Würze, leicht rauchige Mineralik die zart ins Salzige geht, gute Länge. Eher ein burgundischer Charakter! [GB 09/2020]
