Statement von Andi Weigand zu seinem Wein: "Old school MTH how it should be", heißt Reben von alten Rebstöcken (60 Jahre alt) mit einer alten Korbpresse gepresst und in alten großen Holzfässern ausgebaut, natürlich spontan vergoren und unfiltriert abgefüllt. In der Nase ein (noch) deutlicher Hefetouch mit einer schönen Zitrusfrische, dazu grüner Apfel und eine feine Kräuterwürze. Am Gaumen eine -für die Sorte- drahtige Textur mit einer saftigen Säure, die Aromatik wieder grün mit Apfel, Kräutern und Zitrus, hinzukommt etwas Grapefruit, der zarte Gerbstoff mit dem Hefeschleier verleihen ihm Grip und dadurch Länge.
