Dunkles Kaminrot, in der Nase, dunkles Beerenkonfit, Holundermark, ein Hauch von Orangenzeste, geröstete Pinienkerne und dunkler Nougat, etwas Lakritze, leicht ätherische Noten. Am Gaumen eine kraftvolle barocke Struktur, extraktsüße Frucht, Kirsche und Brombeeren, daneben aber auch ein herzhaftes -leicht herbes- Tannin, die Säure mit einem zitronigen Touch, hält sich so gut am Gaumen. Typischer Merlot mit viel Holzeinfluss (Toasting)! [GB Jg. 2015]
