Der zweite Gebietswein von Michael Gross stammt aus der Region Maribor (direkt an der österr. Grenze südlich von Leutschach) und ist eine Cuvée aus Sauvignon Blanc und Welschriesling wie wir sie häufig auch in der Steiermark finden. In der Nase fruchtig offen, gelber Apfel, reife Stachelbeeren, Grapefruitzeste, ganz zarte Kräuternoten und eine Spur Mineralität. Am Gaumen eine satte -ja runde- Textur, der Sauvignon hält sich gediegen zurück, kommt sehr elegant rüber, die Säure präsentiert sich angemessen frisch, alles sehr stimmig und mit gutem Trinkfluss.
