Die Trauben stammen von über 40 Jahre alte Reben aus der Lage Blumenthal mit Kies & Lehm Boden. In der Nase dunkle Beeren, auch Cranberries, Pflaumen, Malz, Graphit und Gewürze (schwarzer Pfeffer, Anis). Am Gaumen eine rauchig-erdige Textur, Rote Bete, wieder rote Beeren und Malz bzw. Trebern (nicht untypisch für Naturwein), sehr urig und kräftig auch in der Säure, verfeinert am Schluß mit einem leicht blumigen Ton. Ein ausgefallener Blaufränkisch! [GB 03/2020]
