Peters Wetzers hält seine Kékfrankos lange am Stock, sie werden sehr reif - oft erst Ende Oktober geerntet und danach in offenen Bottichen spontan vergoren. Mittleres Rubingranat, urige Nase nach dunklen Beeren, gedörrten Zwetschgen, Roggenbrot und Hefeteig, Eukalyptus, daneben Gewürze wie Lorbeer und Wacholder, sowie ein winziger Maischetouch. Am Gaumen ein sehr erdiger erster Eindruck, eingelegte Himbeeren, rote Ribiseln, ein Anflug von Zitrone, Säure und Tannin sind in guter Balance, wuchtig aber in sich sehr stimmig, bleibt sehr natürlich und erfrischend und lang im Abgang. Ein Gegenstück zu Schnaitmanns Lemberger Steinwiege! [GB 05/2020]
