Description

Der Grüne Veltliner Vogelsang entwickelt sich -langsam aber sicher- zum Aushängeschild von Carmen und Herbert Zillinger, nach dem 2016er schon wieder hohe Punkte bei Parker. In der Nase gelber Apfel, Ananas, Quitte, etwas Sesam, Gartenkräuter und etwas nach Heuwiese mit Luzerne, rauchige Kalk-Mineralik und ganz leichte ätherische Noten. Am Gaumen eine saftige Textur mit viel Gripp, expressiv und herzhaft, dabei durchaus burgundisch geprägt, braun gewordene Birne und Grapefruitzeste mit einer lebhaften Säure, zarte Reduktion mit deutlich Salz im Nachhall. Eine eigenständige Veltliner Interpretation - wieder äußerst gelungen! [GB 08/2019]
