Tradition heißt in Gobelsburg nostalgisch, nach unserer Väter Vorbild komplett im Holzfass gekeltert. Sattes Goldgelb, in der Nase sehr reife Frucht nach Aprikosen und Apfel, ein Hauch Quittengelée, vielleicht sogar etwas Kürbis. Am Gaumen eine sehr weiche füllige Textur, ja nahezu ölig, anfangs nur wenig Säure, entwickelt sich im Glas, da kommt dann eine feine Würze dazu, die Säure wird etwas präsenter, ein tolles Pfefferl kommt, komplex und animierend.
