Die Kessellage Axpoint, am Fuße der bekannten Einzellage Singerriedel, besteht aus Verwitterungsgestein mit etwas Lehm, Schwarzerde und Löss ist besonders gut für Grünen Veltliner geeignet. Helles Grüngelb, intensive Nase nach gelbem Apfel, eine Spur Honigmelone, dazu etwas Grapefruit, auch florale und rauchige Noten. Am Gaumen eine sanfte Textur, gelbfruchtig, reife Säure, mild in der Würze, ein facettenreicher Wein, der Lust auf das nächste Glas macht. [GB 02/2016]
