Der Chardonnay R (eserve) von Kühling-Gillot wächst auf Kalkmergel in Oppenheim und ist in neuen 500-Liter Fässern ausgebaut. Helles Goldgelb, in der Nase Quitte und Birne mit einem Hauch Akazie, am Gaumen cremig nach Brioche, aber auch etwas zart-herbes von einer Birnenschale, guter Druck, ein ungemein "kalkiger" Chardonnay dem der Einfluss des neuen Holzes seine Komplexität und Cremigkeit verleiht.
