Ein zu 100% barriqueausgebauter Chardonnay: alkoholische und malolaktische Gärung im kleinen Eichenfass (100 % neues Holz), für 6 Monate auf der Feinhefe mit viel Bâtonnage. Mittleres Goldgelb mit grünlichen Reflexen, in der Nase überwiegen Holz- und Röstaromen: Akazienblüten, reife Bananen, etwas Vanille, Brioche und Hefezopf. Am Gaumen vollmundig und cremig mit sehr weicher Textur, deutliche Fruchtsüße, wieder reife Frucht nach Bananen, Honigmelone, viel Barrique-Aromatik,  kaum Säure und doch sehr harmonisch - typisch SALZL.
