100% barriqueausgebauter Chardonnay: alkoholische und malolaktische Gärung im kleinen Eichenfass (100 % neues Holz), für 6 Monate auf der Feinhefe mit viel Bâtonnage. Mittleres Goldgelb mit grünlichen Reflexen, in der Nase (noch) viel Holz- und Röstaromen: Brioche, Hefezopf, reife Bananen, etwas Vanille und Akazienholz. Am Gaumen vollmundig und cremig, sehr weiche Textur, viel Fruchtsüße, wieder reife Frucht nach Bananen, Honigmelone, ein bisschen an Popcorn erinnernd, leicht kräutrig nach Koriander, wenig Säure und doch sehr harmonisch - typisch SALZL.
