Description

Der Chardonnay Leithakalk aus dem Hause Kollwentz kommt von Kalk- und Schieferböden am Leithagebirge (den Namen darf er aber ohne DAC nicht tragen) und wird in großen Holzfässern aus österreichischer Eiche ausgebaut. In der Nase gelbe Exotik: Sternfrucht, Litschi, Honigmelone, und Bananenblätter, erstaunlich charmant mit einem Hauch Vanillekipferl . Am Gaumen eine füllige Textur, kraftvoll und saftig, das Holz ist sehr gut integriert und macht sich mit etwas Vanille, Quitte und Brioche bemerkbar, dazu eine feine Säure mit etwas Mineralik, gediegener Trinkspaß.
