Dieser Chardonnay ist -wie alle Weine von Matthias Warnung- über 2 Jahr im großen neutralen Holzfaß auf der Vollhefe ausgebaut. In der Nasse Ringlotten, frische Quitten, leicht exotisch nach Sternfrucht, Kamille, Heu und eine Spur Erde. Am Gaumen eine feste phenolische Textur, druckvoll, fast massiv fruchtig, Traubenschale und wieder Quitte, gute Säure und etwas Gerbstoff, wirkt trotz/wegen der Hefe sehr frisch, leicht salzig im Abgang, bleibt lang. Ein sattes Naturweinfeeling ohne Fehltöne. [GB 10/2019]
