Dieser Blaufränker stammt vom Alten Reben am Leithaberg mit 100% Kalkstein, ohne Kämme im offenen Holzbottich vergoren, danach über 2 Jahre in gebrauchten Barriques auf der Vollhefe ausgebaut. In der Nase dunkles Beerenkonfit, zarte florale Nuancen nach Veilchen, dezente Kräuterwürze, auch etwas Lakritze und schwarzer Pfeffer. Am Gaumen gut strukturiert, gut integrierte Tannine, sehr gute Balance, laktische Noten, Brombeeren, Hagebute, mineralisch und lange anhaltend im Abgang. [GB Jg. 2012]
